How to become a member.
The International Society for the Study of New Religions, the first professional membership organization for NRM researchers, was incorporated in Sweden in 2009. The first membership meeting was conducted at the CESNUR conference in Taiwan on June 21st 2011. The new elected board consists of: Liselotte Frisk, chairman, Carole M. Cusack, vice chairman, Jim Lewis, secretary, Henrik Bogdan, treasurer, Eileen Barker, Jean-Francois Mayer and Mike Kropfield.
Membership includes a subscription to IJSNR (The International Journal for the Study of New Religions) which appears twice a year. Become a member at www.issnr.com. Also find out more about IJSNR and how to submit articles at www.equinoxjournals.com/IJSNR. Additionally, ISSNR publishes an NRM book series, Approaches to New Religion, in cooperation with Equinox.
